Finding The Truth
This Is Not The Truth.
As I’ve said elsewhere, truth for most humans is a subjective thing that changes over time: “The Earth is flat”, “We can’t fly faster than the speed of sound”, “Smoking does not harm your health”, Nobody could have guessed terrorists would fly planes into a building”, “My God is the one true God”.
My personal truth has changed enormously over the past 5 years. A few years from now, I expect it will have evolved further. What is written here is what I understand to be “true” at this moment in time.
But it’s not meant to be your truth, but I hope it makes you start on the journey to find your truth. Because one thing that I think is true, is that we all here as a part of a journey to find our own truth.
You Have To Seek The Truth
It appears to be a law of this life that the truth doesn’t turn up on your doorstep one day and say “Hi here I am – what was it you wanted to know?”
If you want to progress, you need to go searching for the truth.
Dis-information
There are so many competing factions in all parts of society, each with their own agendas and each spreading misleading and/or incomplete and/or half true information, that it is difficult to get at the truth.
Like the leading characters in the better detective stories, what you can do is stay alert and attentive, listen and cross correlate what you learn to make your own judgement.
Over time it’s likely you’ll get a sense of what might be the best explanation for a question or situation.
