Looking To The Future and Waking Up
Hey – We Got Your Money!

So, as of May 2009, the global economy is sure in a mess, but what comes next is the $64,000 question.
Do we smoothly transition back into “economic growth” and “good times”, or is some other destination waiting for us?
Of course, nobody really knows how the future is going to turn out, but there are certainly some clear trends that suggest life as we knew it until mid-2008 has changed irrevocably.
However, it’s unlikely you’ll read much about other possible futures that don’t involve a return to economic growth and good times . . . . sooner or later and plus or minus a few trillion dollars of debt.
Why? Because the mainstream media is itself an integral part of the intertwined economic, social and political system that is totally dependent on the mantra of continuous economic growth and is unable to even consider other possibilities.
Again why? Because to consider other possibilities would invite the collapse of this system.
Do you want to read more? This question is asked because frankly, most people don’t want to leave the world of popular illusion.
99.9% of people don’t want to take the red pill (as in The Matrix), because reality is just too confronting and difficult to deal with.
If you think you do want to take the red pill, then perhaps you’re ready to begin, or are already somewhere in the process of waking up.
Waking up from what? From the ‘dreamworld‘ (aka the Matrix) that many people are living in at this time.
So what’s the purpose of this site?
- Outline the realities behind the current global situation, rather than the popular “dreamworld“, and the background on how we got into this position.
- Help you understand what might happen and the preparations you can make to minimize the impact on yourself and your family.
- Get you to understand how you can make a difference to the situation . . . if you want to.
- Writing this helps me to clear my head by getting a load of stuff out of there and onto ‘paper’.
- Encourage you to wake up to the realities of who you really are spiritually and why you’re here . . . if you want to.
- Look for the humor in all this damn craziness.
- And it’s a pass of the baton from me as thanks to those people who helped me to wake up.
So What’s The dreamworld?
It’s that place where:
- the economic crash “couldn’t be foreseen” and it was an “unfortunate accident” that unemployed people with no jobs or assets were sold real estate and given loans that they (surprise, surprise!) couldn’t pay back.
- the executives of the banks handing out the loans were paid billions in bonuses whilst their companies lost billions and were bailed out by the Government and taxpayer (a time-honored scam “pocket the profits socialize the losses”)
- the economic benefits of globalization haven’t “trickled down” yet, although the richest 1% of the population now own about 50% of the US (more than ever) . . . but just be patient
- it was “unlucky” that a few Arabs from a cave in Afghanistan could mount a “surprise” attack using planes on 9/11 and in the process
- outwit a multi-trillion dollar air defence system,
- escape the eye of the most extensive and best funded espionage organisation in the world (the CIA)
- get awfully “lucky” in that the CIA and FBI and Foreign Department ignored or “forgot” or “lost” multiple warnings about this attack from overseas governments and espionage organisations
- it was “unfortunate” that the WMD which were used to justify the war in Iraq were nowhere to be found.
- it’s a “coincidence” that the opium production in Afghanistan has gone up 10 times since the US army engaged there in 2001 (but “lucky” for those Wall St banks that launder the drug money)
- it’s a “shame” that satellite spy cameras that can read an auto’s number plate from space or spot a terorrist on a mountain road, just can’t seem to find thousands of acres of poppy fields in Afghanistan . . . dirt on the lens maybe?
- it was “good fortune” how so many of George Bush’s inner circle (Cheney, Rumsfeld et al) benefited financially from the decisions taken by the Government during their time in office
and last but not least
- you’re distracted by media trivia and saturated with propaganda to make you fearful and stop you seeing things as they really are.
In the dreamworld, everything will work out . . . just trust what you’re told. All we need to do is:
1. Apply enough money to the problems, load up with more debt, bail out the banks, the auto companies, the State Governments and anybody and everybody else who needs it to “restore economic growth”.
2. Win the war on terror, the war on drugs, the war in Iraq, the war in Afghanistan, the war on crime and the war on anybody else who doesn’t agree with us . . . because by definition they’re “terrorists”.
3. Ignore the inherent insanity of an economic model based on unlimited growth in consumption on a finite planet. Especially, pretend not to know about the imminent and obvious shortage of oil, which is the lifeblood of the economy.
Then things will return to normal. Happy shopping days, suburbia and glorious, military victories will roll on forever.
And don’t you worry about how the environment and resource base will support unending economic and population growth. That’s a detail that will just work itself out one way or another.
Hold on, I meant to say economic growth will fix that of course!
This Dreamworld Doesn’t Sound Right
On the other hand, you might look around, make your own assessment and realize this situation doesn’t look like what I’m being told in the mainstream media.
You might also be wondering whether the official explanations for what’s happening make sense and if the proposed solutions are going to work and what the real reasons were behind events during 2008 and 2009.
Here’s a great recent article on this subject by Mike Ruppert, who is an investigative journalist and author par excellence.
In this process of waking up, you might think of yourself like Neo in the film The Matrix, where Neo first senses that something is not quite right with his world. Perhaps you sense the same thing?
Eventually, Neo meets Morpheus who presents him with the red pill or the blue pill. The red pill will enable Neo to see the world as it really is, whereas the blue pill will return him to ‘normality’ i.e. the dreamworld.
This site gives you a type of red pill – it’s up to you whether you want to take it.
Remember: Reality is not necessarily pleasant, or easy to deal with, but it does take you closer to the truth of what’s really happening in the world around you and who you really are.
At the end of the day it’s absolutely your choice whether to awaken or not. There’s no intrinsic right or wrong in the choice you make. Free will is one of the fundamental conditions of our life experience.
And because you’re human, your part of a race that is in part gentle, caring, hateful, loving, violent, bigoted, helpful, courageous, rascist, compassionate, cruel, visionary, devoted and at times just plain crazy – on occasion all in the same day!
That’s what makes our life on this planet, in this skin, so damn interesting.
This Is Not The Truth
Truth for most humans is a subjective thing that changes over time: “The Earth is flat”, “We can’t fly faster than the speed of sound”, “Smoking does not harm your health”, “Nobody could have guessed terrorists would fly planes into a building”, “My God is the one true God”.
My personal truth has changed enormously over the past 5 years. A few years from now, I expect it will have evolved further. What is written here is what I understand to be “true” at this moment in time.
But it’s not meant to be your truth, but I hope it makes you start on the journey to find your truth. Because one thing that I think is true, is that we are all here as a part of a journey to find our own truth.
Important Note:
You’ll grow and change personally from waking up and finding your own truth. If enough of us wake up, it can make a difference to the possible future that occurs and take us down one of the more appealing paths that human history can take.
Changing history sounds like an impossible task and who the hell am I anyway to say it’s possible?
Well, you can look at the butterfly effect which suggests it is possible. (This effect postulates that a butterfly flapping its wings in say Columbia might create tiny changes in the atmosphere that may ultimately alter the path of a storm or delay, accelerate or even prevent the occurrence of a storm in say Australia).
There are also many book, websites and spiritual teachers who suggest that when a critical mass of people on the planet have ‘woken up’ and realize who they really are, then there will be a change. We need to reach that tipping point . . . soon.
There’s no agenda with this site other than what is described above.
What About The Collapse?
It’s easy to fall into the trap of becoming fixated on one point of view – I know I’ve been there!
Many commentators argue that the widespread collapse of industrial civilization is now inevitable and that it has already started in number of countries – the question now is how far and how how fast will it spread?
What I’m saying is that in the context of how the Universe as a whole works , there’s still an awful lot we don’t know and understand. There are always other potential realities that are possible, even if they look very unlikely from our narrow human viewpoint.
Even at this late hour when the doomsday clock says five minutes to midnight, you can change and if you can change, then so can other people too and therefore a global change is possible.
